Fidelis Muzyamba is a Lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication Studies. One of the Department's longest-serving members, he has coordinated postgraduate studies and the broadcasting section, has acted as Head of Department on several occasions, and currently coordinates departmental research. He teaches communication research methods and statistics, ratio and television production, communication for peace and conflict resolution, and science and environmental communication, and has supervised and examined a generation of Master of Mass Communication and Masters in Communication for Development candidates.
He has served as executive producer on numerous student radio and television productions aired on ZNBC, and has worked as lead consultant to statutory and civil society organisations.
