Trevor Mwansa is a lecturer, consultant and researcher in the Department of Arts, Languages and Literary Studies at the University of Zambia. His teaching, research interests and expertise spans literary theory, poetry, African literature, African-American literature, American literature, English literature, education, leadership, eco-criticism, modernism and post-modernism. He also has interest in cultural, critical and contemporary issues. His recent publications include; ‘Reflecting and modulating traditional masculinity ideological standpoints: A Stylistic Analysis of Abel Chungu’s Mwamuna Samalila (A man does not cry)’ as well as ‘Dealing with Discrimination: Exploring the Coping Strategies Employed by The Protagonist in Alice Walker’s Meridian’
